The Government had given a opportunity to all Government Employees who have granted Promotion  / MACP on or after 01-01-2016 to exercise/re-exercise option for Pay Fixation under FR 22(1)(a)(1) within one month of the date of issue of said O.M. No. 4-21/2017-IC/E.IIIA dated 28.11.2019 (Click to download the OM). Several Government Employees could not exercise the option within the above said period of one month. www.dstf.in

Now the Government has  given a another opportunity to all employee to exercise /re-exercise option of his pay fixation who have been granted promotion / MACP on or after 01-01-2016 vide OM No. 04-21/2017-IC/E,IIIA  dated 15-04-2021 (Click to download the OM) within three months from date of issue of this Office Memorandum i.e. up to 14 July, 2021.

Delhi Government has also endorsed the above order dated 15-04-2021 on dated 11-06-2021 (Click to Download). Now You can opt for the date of next increment upto 10-09-2021.

Mostly teachers are in dilemma whether this will be beneficial to them or not. Now DSTF is going to explain the benefits of exercise of this option. For details visit : www.dstf.in

Now All the teachers who has not submitted their Pay Fixation option  till date , give it to their HoS before 14 July, 2021 and this is last opportunity for them to get the benefit. The Option is beneficial to all teachers irrespective of date of Promotion/MACP. www.dstf.in

There are three types of Cases of Pay Fixation :-

• The teachers' whose date of Promotion /MACP is on 1st July / 1st Jan.  www.dstf.in

The teachers whose date of Promotion is on 1st Jan. / 1st July , they  can give option to fix their pay w.e.f. from the  date of Promotion / MACP and they will get their next increment after 6 months. For eg : If an employee is promoted or awarded MACP on 1st Jan. 2016 and he opt to fix his from date of Promotion/MACP i.e. on 1st Jan, 2016, then his next date of increment will be July, 2016 and if date of promotion/MACP is in 1st July, 2016, then his date of Next increment will be 1st Jan., 2017.  Click below link for Pay Fixation.

• The teachers' whose date of Promotion /MACP is between 2 Jan. to 30 June.                                                                www.dstf.in

The teachers whose date of Promotion is between 2 Jan. to 30 June  , they  can give option to fix their pay w.e.f. from the next date of increment For eg : If an employee is promoted or awarded MACP on 30 March, 2016. His pay will be fixed as per the below Pay fixation Calculator.

He will get two increment on date of increment i.e. on 1st July - one annual and other MACP/Promotion increment and his next date of increment will be 1 Jan., 2017.

• The teachers' whose date of Promotion /MACP is between 2 July to 31 Dec.                                                                www.dstf.in

The teachers whose date of Promotion is between 2 July to 31 December  , they  can give option to fix their pay w.e.f. from the next date of increment for more benefit.  For eg : If an employee is promoted or awarded MACP on 16 September, 2017. His pay will be fixed as per the below Pay fixation Calculator.

He will get his pay fixed in higher side on next level of pay matrix on 16 September, 2017. He will get two increment on date of next increment i.e. in July, 2018 - one annual and other MACP/Promotion and his next date of increment will be 1 Jan., 2019. 

There is no loss to the employee in any case. So hurry up and fill your option form and submit it in your school immediately. www.dstf.in
