Yesterday, GSTA President Sh. C.P.Singh, Acting General Secretary Sh. Prashant Priyadarshi ,Vice President Sh.Yashpal Malik & other members of the centre & Distt.team discussed & decided to write a letter to the Director of Education regarding misinterpretation of the proposed amendment rule for the promotion of TGT to PGT.

The GSTA being the only one elected body of entire teaching community of Delhi has several times strongly opposed the said proposed amendment in recruitment rule for different subjects of PGT as they are not justifiable and diminish all the promotional opportunities of the teachers especially the TGT (Science & Maths) who have done post Graduation in humanities while in service after getting proper due permission from the Department.They have to do the same because of PG in Science can't be done as regular.

No gazette notification for amendment in RR for PGT has been finalized and published so far therefore no eligiblity list should be prepared as per the proposed RR mentioned in the circular.
