I have noticed some anomalies in the proposed Pay Matrix by 7th CPC. In order to remove these anomalies and to simplify things further, I have prepared Suggested Simplified Pay Matrix, which I am enclosing herewith with a request to post it on your blog.

RBG’s Suggested Simplified PAY MATRIX

The Seventh Pay Commission has simplified the pay structures for various levels but some anomalies are there in the proposed Pay Matrix, e.g. a person is drawing a salary of 20750 + 5400GP in PB-II (as per Sixth Pay Commission) his Pay will get re-fixed at 69200 whereas another person with same pay of Rs 20750 + 5400GP in PB-III (as per Sixth Pay Commission) his Pay will get re-fixed at 69000. There can be more such instances. 

In order to simplify things further and to remove anomalies as mentioned above, I propose a Pay Matrix with same number of levels as proposed by the 7th CPC with some modifications in Entry Level pay:

S.NO. indicates various STAGES and the Entry Pay has been indicated against each level, the pay of an employee after allowing an increment will be fixed at the next stage. Upon Promotion or getting MACP his Pay should be re-fixed at next to next stage i.e. he should be given two increments. It will make things very simple.
