The
Government of NCT of Delhi has decided to start with, the 30% ceiling of
promotion of UDC to the UDC (Non Functional Selection Grade) would be removed
with immediate effect. The Services Department of Government of NCT of Delhi
will soon issue orders to this effects.
The representatives of DASS and Stenographer Cadre met the Minister of Health, Power and PWD, Shri Satyendar Jain in relation to their demands for improvement in their service conditions. Pr. Secy.(Services), Shri Rajendra Kumar was also
present in the meeting .
Shri Jain heard their request patiently and assured them that the government is very alive to their needs and working conditions and it is the commitment of the government to provide them the best of the service conditions and working environment. The representatives of these cadres have also been meeting the Chief Minister from time to time and he is fully aware about their concerns.
As far as their further requests for improving the service conditions of the DASS and Steno cadre is concerned, the discussions would continue and the government would very actively consider their requests. Further, the cadre restructuring of DASS and Steno Cadres will be done as soon as possible.
Pr. Secretary (Services) has sent confirmation with regard to above to Shri Satyendar Jain and copy thereof to the representative of the DASS and Stenographer Cadre.
