Sir,

Sub : Grant of HRA at enhanced rates to the Central Government employees as per 2011 census.

It is reported that Registrar General & Census Commissioner of India has sent the final CD to Ministry of Finance containing the Final report of Urban Agglomeration (UAs) PCA of 2011, long back. But no decision is taken by the Finance Ministry till date for reclassification of cities/towns on the basis of 2011 census for the purpose of grant of HRA/Travelling Allowance.

It is requested to kindly take necessary action for getting the benefit of enhanced rate of HRA/Travelling Allowances to the Central Government Employees on the basis of the latest report of Census 2011.
