The directorate of Education issued circular on
dated 11/07/2013 to remove the anomaly of teaching staff of education
department who are drawing less salary than newly recruited teachers on

CIRCULAR
In continuation of this office circulars dated 10.03.2010 , 18.05.2010 and
15.03.2013it is reiterated that cases of pay anomaly in respect of teaching
staff of education Department, who are drawing less salary than newly recruited
teachers on 01.01.2006 or thereafter are to be settled in accordance with the
instructions issued by Ministry of HRD. Govt. of India, vide their letter dated
13/03/2009 and 05.05.2010. MHRD has already clarified that such cases may be
settled in accordance with the clarification issued by Department of
Expenditure (Implementation Cell). Ministry of Finance Govt. of India. Basic
Pay of seniors may be stepped up with reference to such of their directly
recruited juniors who are recruited on or after 01.01.2006 and whose basic pay
is more than that of the seniors subject to fulfilment of certain conditions.
All RDEs/DDEs/HOSs are requested to process such cases, on priority as per
existing rules and instruction and forward to their respective district
accounts functionary for examination who will further recommend the same to DDE
concerned for forwarding to HQ for concurrence.
