PUBLIC NOTICE
Guest Teachers are proposed to be engaged by the Heads of Schools of the Directorate of Education from amongst the qualified youth. Subject-wise vacancies in each school are available on the website. The number of vacancies are subject to variation. The Guest Teacher shall be engaged purely on temporary basis, till the post is filled up on regular basis or till 10th May, 2014, whichever is earlier. Willing candidates may register themselves with any on specific school of choice online on our website www.edudel.nic.in from 26th June, 2013 to 05th July, 2013. The details of eligibility are as under :-
1. PGT/Lecturer : Candidates with Post Graduate degree in the subject concerned, with B.ed. can apply for PGT. However, in case of PGT (Home Science/Domestic Science and Physical Education) the qualification is as under :-
1.1 PGT/Lecturer (Home Science/Domestic Science) : M.Sc. (Home Science) OR B.Sc (Home Science) with Degree/Diploma in Education.
1.2 PGT/Lecturer (Physical Education) : Post Graduate degree in Physical Education.
2. PGT/Lecturer (EVGCs) : M.A. in Psychology from a recognized University Degree or Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.
3. TGT (English/Maths/Social Science/Natural Sciences/Home Science) : Bachelor Degree i the concerned subjects with B.Ed and working knowledge of Hindi can apply for TGT. Candidates with Graduation in two school subjects of which at least one out of the four namely (i) English (ii) Mathematics (iii) Natural Science/Physical Science and (iv) Social Science should have been at the elective level.
3.1 TGT (Natural Science/Physical Science) : Main subjects shall be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology.
3.2 TGT (Social Science) : Main subjects are History/Political Science/Economics/Business Studies/Sociology/Geography/Psychology.
3.3 TGT (Home Science) : Graduate wit Diploma in Home Science from a recognized University OR B.Sc. (home Science) with Degree/Diploma in education.
4. TGT (MIL - Hindi/Sanskrit/Punjabi/Urdu) : B.A. (Hon.) in one of the Modern Languages (MIL) concerned OR B.A. with MIL concerned as one of the elective subjects with on additional language at degree level OR Equivalent Oriental degree in MIL concerned Oriental degree in MIL concerned OR Sahitya Rattan of Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Prayag (For Hindi Teachers only) with English in Matriculation. B.ED/Sr. Anglo Vernacular Certificate. Knowledge of Hindi essential.
5. Physical Education Teacher (PET) : Graduate with Bachelor's of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or its equivalent.
6. Special Education Teacher : (TGT) (for Physically Handicapped, Speech impaired, Mentally Restarted and Partially sighted) : Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) or B.ED with two years diploma in special education or post-graduate professional diploma in special education.
7. Music Teacher : B.A. Degree with Music as one of the subject from a recognized university OR Higher Secondary with any one of the following i.e. Sangeet Visharad Examination of the Gandharava Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Bombay/ Sangeet Vid Examination of the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Khairabad, M.P./Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Academy of Music) Allahabad/Sangeet Visharad Examination of Madhava Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Leshkar, Gwalior.
8. Drawing Teacher : M.A. in Drawing and Painting/Fine art from a recognized University OR B.A./B.A. with drawing and Painting/Art/Fine Art with minimum 2 years full time diploma from a recognized institution OR Higher Secondary/Intermediate with minimum 4 years full time diploma in Painting/Fine Art from a recognized institute/University.
9. Librarian : (i) Degree from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in library Science from a recognized University/institute or equivalent and (iii) One year certificate in Computer application from a recognized institute or equivalent.
10. Asstt. Teacher (Primary) : Candidates who have passed Sr. Secondary examination with two year Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education or equivalent can apply for Assistant Teacher. Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary level.
11. Assistant Teacher (Nursery) : Sr. Secondary with Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education of not less than 2 years or equivalent. Must have passed Hindi at Secondary level.
12. Age Limits :- As on 1st July, 2013
(i) Special Education Teacher/Music Teacher/
Drawing Teacher/Librarian and Assistant Teacher (Primary &
Nursery) : Not exceeding 30 years. (Sr. no. 6,7,8,9,10 & 11)
Drawing Teacher/Librarian and Assistant Teacher (Primary &
Nursery) : Not exceeding 30 years. (Sr. no. 6,7,8,9,10 & 11)
(ii) TGTs (Sr. No. 3, 4 & 5) : Not exceeding 32 years (42 years for female)
(iii) PGTs/EVGCs (Sr. No. 1 & 2) : Not exceeding 36 years
13. Guest teacher would be engaged on the basis of academic merit. However, marks obtained in CTET will not be considered for purpose of determination of merit.
14. Persons engaged as guest teachers during 2012-13, will be given preference in the same school and subject. However, based on assessment of HOS if the performance of Guest Teacher including the examination results in the respective subject is not up to mark, no preference will be available.
15. Candidates applying for TGTs ( except Home Science, Music, Drawing, Physical Education Teacher & Librarian) and Assistant Teacher (Primary) posts are informed that they can apply only if they have qualified CTET.
16. The Guest Teacher shall be paid as per the rates mentioned in the following table which have been approved by Finance Department vide U.O. No. 54/DS3 dated 19-6-13 :-

17. The candidate shall fill-up his/her name, as appeared in the certificate of class X examination. Any deviation in this regard will lead to disqualification. Candidates in their own interest are advised to fill up all the items in the online application form carefully. Before submitting the form online he/she shall check the particulars on the "Review" screen. Requests for correction what so ever shall not be entertained at later stages.
18. The candidate shall use, internet explorer only while filling up application online.
19. The order of merit list will be displayed on website on 09-07-2013 and Candidates are accordingly advised to contact the HOS concerned immediately.
