Essential
(a) A
bachelor’s Degree (Pass/Hons) from recognized University or equivalent with English as main subject, having
secured at least 45% marks in aggregate of having studied to a level not
lower than ancillary/subsidiary subjects.
(b)
The Second subject can be from amongst the
following also :
History, Pol. Science, Economics, Commerce, Geography, Agriculture,
Horticulture, Provided further that the requirement as to minimum of 45%
marks in the aggregate at graduation level shall be relaxable in case of (a)
Candidates who possess a Post Graduate Qualification in any of the teaching
subject listed above, (b) belonging to SC/ST (c) Physically Handicapped
candidates.
(c) Degree
(B.Ed.)/Diploma in training Education or S.A.V. Certificate.
(d) CTET
(Elementary Stage) Conducted by CBSE (As per Delhi Gazette Notification date
07.10.2011.
(e) Working
knowledge of Hindi language at least upto Secondary Level or equivalent.
Note : Qualifications are relaxable
at the discretion of the competent authority for reasons to be recorded in
writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
