Age limit for direct recruits
:
Not Exceeding 30 years.
Note-1 Relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instruction or order issued by Central Govt.

Note 2 : The Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those in Assam, Meghlaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Laddakh division of J & K State, Lahul & Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh & Andaman & Nicobar Island Or Lakshadweep).

Educational & other qualification required for direct recruits
:
Essential
1.       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognized University.  OR
Graduation in Computer Science from a recognized university. (provided that the computer science subject must be studied in all years as main subject)
OR
BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology) from a recognized University
OR
Graduation in any subject and ‘A’ level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication and Technology, Govt. of India.
Note : Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
