Educational
& other qualification required for direct recruits

Essential
1.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at
least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name
known) from a recognized Board. OR
Senior
Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by
whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and
Procedure) regulations – 2002.
OR
Senior
Secondary (or its equivalent ) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special
Education) from recognized Board.
OR
Graduation
and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name know) from a
recognized Board.
2.
Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test
(CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
3.
Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or
English as a subject at secondary Level.
Note 1 : Relaxation up to 5% in the
qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved
categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PH.
Note 2 : Qualification are relaxable
at the discretion of the Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in
writing in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
